The F-1 engine that got Saturn V off the ground was built when the computers doing the math were, by today's standard, barely computers at all. The astonishing part was never the metal. Schools do not organise around Admin, IT, Coaches, and Teachers as one system. They organise around four islands that occasionally lob a problem across the water at each other.
